NTA NEET 2026 fake notice

National Testing Agency will conduct re-neet 2026 on June 21, 2026 between 2 PM to 5:15 PM. Amid growing speculation over upcoming NEET Re-exam 2026, a fake notice is circulating on social media platform claiming major changes in NEET 2026 exam pattern. The letter allegedly stated that the National Testing Agency would introduce a new question format based on conceptual understanding, analytical reasoning, and application-based learning.

However, students should note that the viral notice is fake and NEET 2026 exam pattern for retest remains unchanged. There is currently no official notification regarding any change in re-NEET 2026 exam pattern. Students must rely online on NTA NEET official notification and do not trust unverified sources.ย 

Fake Notice Claims Major Changes in Exam Structure

The viral document dated May 27, claimed that the NEET re test 2026 would be conducted independently of previous question sets. It further tells that the exam pattern would be redesigned to test higher-order analytical skills. The fake notice tensed students who are preparing for the exam, leading to confusion regarding syllabus coverage and preparation strategy. However, NTA has reposted a social media post highlighting that any rumour of NEET 2026 pattern change is fake.ย

Is NEET 2026 Re-Exam Pattern Revised?ย 

No, the re-neet 2026 exam pattern has not been revised. Students will have 3 hours and 15 minutes to complete the examination. There will be +4 marks for every correct answer and -1 mark for every incorrect answer. No marks will be deducted for incorrect answers.ย
