Tamil Nadu NEET UG Counselling 2024: Choice Filling Ends Today; Seat Allotment on August 29
Tamil Nadu NEET UG counselling 2024 round 1 choice filling and locking process will conclude today i.e. August 27, 2024, at 5 PM. Students who will complete TN NEET UG choice filling and locking before the deadline will be able to check seat allotment results on August 29, 2024.
Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER) Chennai will conclude Tamil Nadu NEET UG counselling 2024 choice filling and locking process for round 1 today, i.e. August 27, 2024. Students can complete the round 1 choice filling and locking for TN MBBS BDS admission 2024 at tnmedicalselection.net by 5 PM, today. Students are advised not to wait for Tamil Nadu NEET UG choice filling deadline 2024 and apply as soon as possible to avoid last-minute hustle. It must be noted that only students with ranks between (GQ) GR 001 to GR 28819 and (MQ) GR 001 to GR 13417 shall be eligible to complete the choice filling and locking during this period.

Students who will complete Tamil Nadu NEET UG counselling 2024 choice filling and locking before the deadline will be able to check the provisional seat allotment results on August 29, 2024. Further, students will be able to check the Tamil Nadu NEET UG round 1 final seat allotment result 2024 on August 30, 2024. DMER Chennai is conducting TN NEET UG counselling 2024 for 85% of state quota MBBS and BDS seats for admission in medical colleges in Tamil Nadu.

No, candidates need not report or join the allotted college of NEET counselling Round 1 since there is free exit. However if they want to retain the Round 1 seat and upgrade in Round 2 they have to physically join the college of Round 1 and give up-gradation willingness for Round 2 at the time of admission. In case candidates decide to resign the seat allotted to them in the first round, then they can do so prior to registering in the next round of NEET counselling.
