The Directorate of Medical Education and Training (DMET), Uttar Pradesh, has initiated the UP NEET counselling 2025 choice filling and locking process for round 1 MBBS, BDS admissions in the state. Students who have qualified the NEET UG 2025 examination and applied for admission in 85% state quota MBBS or BDS seats across Uttar Pradesh medical/ dental colleges can now fill their preferences for colleges/programmes. However, students must be named in the round 1 UP NEET merit list 2025. The round 1 UP NEET choice filling link 2025 is activated at upneet.gov.in. Students will be able to fill and lock their choices till tomorrow, i.e. August 13, 2025. However, students are suggested not to wait for the UP NEET UG round 1 choice filling last date 2025 and do the needful at the earliest to avoid last minute discrepancies.

UP NEET UG Counselling 2025: How to Fill and Lock Choices?
Students can follow the below steps to complete preference filling under UP NEET UG counselling 2025:
Step 1: Login to the official UP NEET UG counselling portal, i.e. upneet.gov.in and log in with registration number, password, and security code.
Step 2: Go to the UP NEET UG Choice Filling section and read the instructions carefully.
Step 3: Select preferred colleges and courses, and arrange them in order of priority.
Step 4: Save choices after carefully checking
Step 5: Enter the OTP verification to lock the choices finally.
Step 6: Download and print the locked choice list for future reference.
