Directorate General of Medical Education (DGME) in Uttar Pradesh has launched registration for stray vacancy round of UP NEET UG counselling 2025. Stray round is final opportunity for eligible candidates for admissions in MBBS and BDS courses in government and private medical and dental colleges in UP.

As per the latest schedule announced, online registration process began today, November 11, 2025, and will conclude on November 14, 2025. NEET UG 2025 qualifiers can apply through official portal at upneet.gov.in. Candidates need to complete registration and pay a non-refundable fee of ₹2,000.

Merit list for this round will likely be announced on November 14 for seat allocations.

Eligibility for stray vacancy round is limited to candidates who have not received any seat allotment in previous rounds of UP NEET UG 2025 counselling. Those already admitted via All India Quota, other state counseling, or who failed to report after allotment, resigned, or were admitted to BDS in earlier rounds (unless opting for MBBS) are ineligible.

However, candidates previously registered but unallotted in prior rounds will not have to repay security deposit. First time participants will have to submit it as per category, ₹30,000 for government seats, ₹2 lakh for private MBBS seats, and ₹1 lakh for private BDS seats.
