No, the registration fee is not refundable. Candidates must be sure before starting the registration process.

The following documents are required UP NEET counselling.

• NEET UG admit card.
• NEET UG scorecard.
• High School (Class 10) marksheet and certificate.
• Intermediate (Class 12) marksheet and certificate.
• Category certificate (SC/ST/OBC/EWS), if applicable.
• Domicile/residence certificate (if applicable).
• PwD certificate form an approved centre (if applicable)
• Photo ID proof (Aadhaar/Driving Licence/PAN/Passport).
• Passport-size photographs (as specified by the portal).
• Valid mobile number and email id.

Candidates have to check UP DGME website for the UP NEET UG counselling dates 2026. UP DGME is the official authority to conduct the UP NEET UG counselling for admission to first year.

Passing NEET UG exam makes candidates eligible for admission. Candidates need to register separately on UP NEET UG counselling portal. Passing NEET exam will not guarantee you admission.

Yes candidates can apply for both government and private colleges seats but they will have to pay higher security deposit of INR 2,00,000 for medical and INR 1,00,000 form dental. Candidates must decide wisely which course and college then want to get admission to.

There shall be 4 rounds of counselling followed by a mop-up round and a stray vacancy round. Candidates must participate in the counselling to secure admission to the participating medicial colleges.

Yes, for a government college seat, UP domicile is required. If the student has completed Class 10 & 12 in UP, they shall be considered for a government seat. To secure admisison in the private medical college no domicile is required.

Candidates who have qualified in the NEET UG exam are eligible for UP NEET counselling. Preference will be given to UP domicile students. Candidates from other states can apply, but they can not avail reservation benefits.
