The Directorate of Medical Education and Training (DMET), Uttar Pradesh has announced UP NEET UG round 2 counselling dates 2024 at the official website. Students who have not participated in round 1 counselling can appear for round 2 counselling and check the Uttar Pradesh NEET counselling dates 2024 to know the registration dates, merit list date, choice filling date, seat allotment date and other important events. Q: When did NEET 2024 counselling process begin?
NEET 2024 counselling dates have been announced by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) on July 29, 2024. NEET 2024 counselling Round 2 registration process began on September 5, 2024 and reopened from September 13 to September 16, 2024. The Round 1 was conducted from August 14 to August 31, 2024. MCC revised the dates on September 13, 2024, with the reopening of the registration process of Round 2 due to the change in seat matrix. As per the revised dates, the last date of the counselling is November 5, 2024. The number of rounds may get extended depending on the number of vacant seats. The state medical authorities will conduct the counselling process for the 85 per cent state quota seats. The dates for counselling were different for the national level and state level admission processes. There will be four to six rounds of NEET counselling, which is the gateway for admission to medical and allied courses such as MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BUMS, BHMS, BSMS and BSc Nursing.

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has reopened the NEET 2024 counselling Round 2 registration and choice filling process till September 16, 2024. Originally, the NEET 2024 Round 2 counselling registration and choice filling was conducted from September 5 to September 10, 2024. The seat allotment result will be declared on September 13, 2024. The seat matrix has been revised, wherein 225 new seats have been added and 13 seats have been removed.
The Round 1 of NEET 2024 counselling was conducted from August 14 to August 31, 2024.
