NEET SS 2021 Counselling: Choice filling to be paused for sometime
MCC of DGHS is in the process of adding a few super speciality seats for NEET SS 2021 Counselling, and hence the choice filling process is paused for some time.
The Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) has notified that MCC of DGHS is in the process of adding a few super speciality seats for NEET SS 2021 Counselling and hence the choice filling process for Round 1 of NEET SS 2021 Counselling which was scheduled between April 2 to April 5 has been paused for some time.
MCC's official notification reads, "In reference to few super speciality seats of colleges/institution not being added earlier to the seat matrix by them, MCC of DGHS is in the process of adding these colleges/institutes to the seat matrix. Hence the choice filling for Super Specialty will be paused for sometime so that these colleges/institutes may add these seats to the seat matrix."
"As soon the addition of the fresh seats by the colleges/institutes is complete the choice filling shall be resumed and will be notified by way of notice," added the notification.
Registration for NEET SS 2021 Counselling Round 2 to start on April 19
As per the NEET SS 2021 Counselling schedule released by MCC earlier, the registration facility and choice filling for Round 2 will be available from April 19 to April 21.
MCC had released the NEET SS 2021 Counselling schedule after much delay. Before the schedule was released Federation of Resident Doctors Association (FORDA) had written to Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya twice regarding the delay in the counselling and subsequent admissions.
