NEET SS Counselling 2021: MCC issues notice about de-affiliation of a college in Rajasthan
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has issued a notice regarding the De affiliation of Geetanjali Medical College & Hospital by the National Medical Commission.
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has notified today that the MCC of DGHS has received information regarding the De affiliation of Geetanjali Medical College & Hospital, Hiranmagri Extension, Manwakhera, Udaipur, Rajasthan by the National Medical Commission during the ongoing Round-2 of SS Counselling 2021.
"In this regard, it is mentioned that the seats which were contributed by Geetanjali Medical College & Hospital, have been withdrawn from the Seat Matrix of Round-2 of Super Speciality Counselling 2021," says the official notification.
Seats removed from NEET SS Counselling 2021 Round 2
The following 11 seats have been removed from NEET SS Counselling 2021 Round 2- 3 seats of MCh Neurosurgery, 2 seats each of DM Cardiology, DM Nephrology, DM Neurology, and one seat each of MCh Surgical Oncology, Mch Urology.
The official notification also said that the candidates who were allotted seats at Geetanjali Medical College, Udaipur, Rajasthan in Round-1 of SS Counselling 2021 have been allowed to participate in Round-2 of SS Counselling 2021 without forfeiture of their Security Deposit. All these students are from the General category. These candidates are Rachit Saxena, rank 464, Vijay Sharma, rank 513, D Ramesh rank 555, and Patel Kishan Kirtikumar, rank 174.
NEET SS Counselling 2021 Round 2 Choice Locking ends today
MCC will end the choice locking process for NEET SS Counselling 2021 Round 2 today, April 22. The candidates can enter choices, confirm colleges and lock it by 11:55 pm today. The result will be declared on April 25, 2022.
