NEET 2021 Counselling Round 1 Registration Process Reopened
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has reopened the registration process for Round 1 of NEET 2021 counselling on January 28. The last date to register, fill and lock choices is January 30. In the official notice released by MCC, the counselling officials have stated, “The Round-1 of UG Counselling was put on hold due to hearing held on 27.01.2022 in the matter of Gidla Bala Surya Chandra & Ors. Vs. UoI & Ors. before the Hon’ble High Court of Judicature at Madras. In compliance to the order, the schedule of Round-1 of UG Counselling 2021 is modified.”

Instructions for Candidates Regarding Reopening of Round 1 NEET Counselling 2021
According to MCC, candidates who do not want to change their locked choices need not do anything and their exercised choices will be valid for seat processing. The other instructions are as follows:

Registration/ Payment Facility/ Choice Filling is made open for all the candidates.

Those who want to edit their choices can log in to their account, give consent for unlocking their choices and fill their choices again or modify them.

Candidates who want to do fresh registration can do so as per schedule and exercise choices for Round-1 of Counselling.
Revision of AFMC Eligible Candidates
MCC has also intimated that the list of candidates eligible for admission to the Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC, Pune) has been revised. Those who had opted for this college are advised to visit the official website of the institute, (https://www.afmcdg1d.gov.in/) for accessing the revised Merit list and Counseling Schedule.
