AFCAT 2021 notification

Indian Air Force (IAF) will release AFCAT (1) 2021 short notification by November end. The detailed notification and application form will be released in the first week of December. The online test of AFCAT (1) 2021 will be conducted in February 2021. AFCAT notification 2021 will be available in PDF format and contains details such as exam dates, process to fill the application form, number of vacancies, eligibility criteria, details about the admit card, selection process.

AFCAT application form 2021 will be made available online along with the notification. The application fee of AFCAT is Rs 250 for all categories and can be paid online. While filling the AFCAT application form, candidates had to enter the Aadhaar Card number. While Aadhaar Card was optional for candidates belonging to Jammu and Kashmir, Assam and Meghalaya.

According to AFCAT eligibility criteria 2021, the age of candidates applying for the flying branch should be between 20 to 24 years. The upper age limit for candidates having a Commercial Pilot License is relaxed up to 26 years. The age of candidates applying for the Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) branch should be between 20 to 26 years. The minimum educational qualification is graduation.

AFCAT is conducted twice a year in February and August/September, respectively. The exam is conducted to select Class-I Gazetted Officers in Flying and Ground Duties (Technical and Non-Technical). Both male and female candidates can apply for the AFCAT exam. The exam comprises an online test and AFSB Interview. Selected candidates will be granted Short Service Commission in Flying Branch and Permanent Commission/Short Service Commission in Ground Duties for both Technical and Non-Technical roles.
