AFCAT (2) 2021 short notification has been released. The detailed notification will be released on June 1. Total 334 vacancies will be filled through the exam.

AFCAT_Notification

Indian Air Force (IAF) has released AFCAT (2) 2021 short notification. Total 334 vacancies have been announced for AFCAT (2) 2021 exam. Air Force Common Admission Test (2) 2021 exam will be conducted for admission to courses commencing in July 2022. AFCAT (2) 2021 detailed notification will be released on June 1.

Online AFCAT (2) 2021 application form will be released on June 1. Interested candidates will be able to fill the application form till June 30. AFCAT (2) exam dates 2021 have not been announced yet. However, the online test of AFCAT is expected to be conducted on August 21 and 22, 2021.

AFCAT Eligibility Criteria

Any graduate candidates can apply for AFCAT exam, however, the eligibility is different for different branches. The age limit for different branches are given below:

Flying Branch: The age of candidates should be between 20 and 24 years as on July 1, 2022. This means, candidates must have born between July 2, 1998 to July 1, 2002. Upper age limit for candidates holding valid and current Commercial Pilot License issued by DGCA is relaxable upto 26 years that is born between July 2, 1996 to July 1, 2002.

Ground Duty (Technical/Non-Technical) branches: The age of candidates should be between 20 and 26 years as on July 1, 2022. Candidates must have born between July 2, 1996 and July 1, 2002.

Details of Training

Training of selected candidates will commence in the first week of July for all courses at Air Force Academy Dundigal (Hyderabad). The duration of training for Flying and Ground Duty (Technical) Branches is 74 weeks and that of Ground Duty (Non-Technical) Branches is 52 weeks at Air Force Training Establishments.

Salary of candidates

The salary of Flying officer will be between Rs 56,100-17,7500 as per defence matrix.
