Bihar STET re-exam dates 2020 have been announced, Exam from September 9
Bihar STET re-exam, necessitated after cancellation of its January exam, will be held from September 9 to September 21 in multiple shift, check other important details.
Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has released fresh dates for Bihar State teacher eligibility test for conducting re-exam after it cancelled the January exam due to malpractice and irregularities. The exam will begin on September 9 and will continue till September 21. While the exam in January held in offline mode, board has decided to conduct the re-exam online.

These are dates announced by BSEB as per revised schedule –
9-Sep-2020, 10-Sep-2020, 11-Sep-2020, 14-Sep-2020, 15-Sep-2020, 16-Sep-2020, 17-Sep-2020, 18-Sep-2020 and 21-Sep-2020
As per a senior BSEB official said, “The board has scheduled re-exam on nine days in various shifts in a bid to maintain social distancing among such a large number of examinees. Candidates have not been asked to apply or pay fee for re-exam as their candidature is still valid. Applicants will be communicated their exam date, exam centre through admit cards which will be issued on August 25.” All district education officers and district magistrates have been asked to make proper arrangements for the re-exam.
Bihar STET was conducted on January 28 earlier this year, 2.47 lakh candidates appeared for the exam. The exam was canceled in May after an investigation revealed large scale irregularities and malpractice. This year the exam, which is conducted to recruit teachers in secondary and higher secondary levels, was held after a long gap of eight years.
