Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is soon expected to announce CDS (I) 2021 result for the written exam. The result will be announced on the official website of UPSC in PDF form. The result PDF will display the roll numbers and names of qualified candidates. Those who will qualify the written exam by securing the minimum qualifying marks are called for the Service Selection Board (SSB) interview.

The written exam of CDS (I) 2021 was conducted on February 7. The exam was conducted across various cities in the country in two shifts. The overall difficulty level of General Knowledge and English was moderate. The Mathematics paper was tough compared to last year.

  • Visit the official website of UPSC
  • Click the result link on the home page
  • The result PDF will open on a new page
  • Search your roll number in the result list
  • Download and take its printout

Calculation of Scores

  • For the correct answer in each section of the test, candidates score one mark
  • For incorrect response, 1/3 marks are deducted
  • In case candidates mark more than one option in the test that will be treated as the wrong answer
  • The total score is calculated based on the number of correct and incorrect answers
  • The minimum qualifying marks in the written exam is 20%
