Coronavirus impact: BPSSC SI Mains exam deferred due to lockdown

Bihar Police Sub-Ordinate Service Commission (BPSSC) has deferred the Bihar Police Sub Inspector (SI) main examination in the wake of lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic. Before this, Bihar SI main examination was scheduled to take place on April 26, 2020. The BPSSC SI exam has now been deferred to an undecided date. Those candidates who have cleared the BPSSC SI preliminary examination are eligible to appear for the main examination. For the recruitment of 2,446 vacancies of three different posts, BPSSC is holding recruitment examinations. The three different posts are Assistant Superintendent Jail (direct recruitment), Assistant Superintendent Jail (Ex-Servicemen), Police Sub Inspector in Bihar Police.
