Indian Coast Guard postpones Yantrik 02/2020 E-admit card release due to COVID-19. 

Indian Coast Guard has postponed the release of Yantrik E-admit card due to COVID- 19. Yantrik E-admit cards were scheduled to be out from April 9. It is likely that the written test, the first phase of recruitment, will be delayed.

Coronavirus pandemic has left a deep impact on the functioning of various organizations. Most of the state and central government recruitment processes are on hold now because of coronavirus pandemic. Previously Indian Coast Guard had issued a notice regarding the postponement of the final medical examination of Navik (DB) 01/2020 batch scheduled on April 17 at INS Chilka.

Indian Coast Guard Yantrik Online application ended on March 22. The written exam for the same was scheduled to be conducted in April. Keeping in mind the current health crisis in the country, it is likely to be delayed by a couple of months. The written test is the first stage of the recruitment process which also includes a Physical fitness Test and Medical Examination of the shortlisted candidates. This test will be objective in nature containing MCQs. Questions will be asked from respective branches (Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics & Telecommunication) along with a few questions from General Knowledge, Reasoning, General Aptitude and English.

Indian Coast Guard in the latest notification has not mentioned any date of E-admit card release, it has asked the candidates to visit the recruitment website of ICG, www.joinindiancoastguard.gov.in for further updates. Find the official notification related to Yantrik 02/2020 batch here.
