Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) has announced the Joint CSIR-UGC NET result 2019 for Joint Research Fellowship (JRF) and eligibility of lectureship. A total of 2,150 candidates have qualified the CSIR NET 2019 exam for JRF and lectureship. The fellowship of the qualified candidates will be effective from January 1, 2020.

How to Check CSIR UGC NET 2019 Result?

Candidates can check their CSIR NET result on the official website of the council by following the steps mentioned below:

• Log on to the official website of the CSIR
• Click on the link available for CSIR UGC NET June 2019 result
• Search your roll number in the CSIR UGC NET 2019 merit list
• Download and print the CSIR NET 219 merit list

The CSIR UGC NET result/ merit list contains the roll numbers and ranks of all the candidates who have cleared the eligibility test. The official CSIR NET result notification reads, “The candidates with following roll numbers have been declared successful in the category under which their roll numbers appear subject to the condition of their fulfilling all the notified eligibility criteria(s) for the test.”

The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research conducted the Joint CSIR-UGC NET exam on June 16, 2019 in a total of 27 cities across India. The council conducted the exam to shortlist candidates for the award of JRF and for determining eligibility for appointment of lecturers in the following subjects:

• Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary Sciences
• Life Sciences
• Mathematical Sciences
• Physical Sciences
