CTET exam centre change facility 2020 extended

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has extended the CTET application form 2020 correction facility for candidates who wish to change their earlier opted exam cities. Candidates can now make changes in their preference for the four CTET exam cities 2020 from November 17-26 (11:59 PM).

It may be noted that CTET 2020 exam will now be conducted on January 31, 2021 at 135 cities across India. Earlier, the exam was scheduled to be conducted at 112 cities. However, the list of new 23 cities was added to the existing list to maintain social distance and safety measures due to COVID-19.

As per the official notification released by CBSE, every effort will be made to accommodate the candidates in the cities opted by them. However, due to unavoidable circumstances candidates can also be allotted cities other than opted by them.

How to change CTET exam centre preference?

  • Visit the official website of CTET
  • Click on the exam city correction button on Home Page
  • Sign in using application number, password and security pin
  • Click on the Correction on Application Form button
  • Read the instructions given on the page
  • Click on the I Agree checkbox
  • Click on Proceed button
  • Change the order of CTET exam cities as per your preference
  • Enter the given security pin
  • Click on the Submit button
  • Review all the details in the application form
  • Click on all the checkboxes on the page
  • Click on the Final Submit button
  • Click on the Yes button and your details will be saved successfully
