
CTET Exam Centres 2026: The Central Board of Secondary Education will conduct the CTET exam 2026 on September 6 at various centres across the country in two shifts on each day. The city intimation slip will be released around 10 days prior to the examination date. Candidates required login credentials to download the city slip. The city slip will consists of the allotted test city details so that candidates can make their travel arrangements in advance. The CTET admit card will be released around three to four days prior to the examination date. It will consists of exact exam centre address.

Candidates are not allowed to carry the items mentioned below inside the exam centres:
- Any stationery item like textual material (printed or written), bits of papers, Geometry/Pencil Box, Plastic Pouch, Calculator, Scale, Writing Pad, Pen drives, Eraser, Calculator, Log Table, Electronic Pen/scanner, Cardboard etc.
- Any communication devices like Mobile phones, Bluetooth, Earphones, Microphone, Pager, Health band etc.
- Any Watch/Wrist watch, wallet, goggles, handbags, Gold/artificial ornaments etc.
- Any other item which could be used for unfair means and for hiding communication devices/gadgets like Camera, Bluetooth device etc.

The CTET pre-admit card 2026 will be released around ten days prior to the examination date. Candidates need to download the pre-admit card or CTET city intimation slip 2026 using the application number, date of birth and security pin. The CTET pre-admit card is like an exam city intimation slip that contains only the name of allotted exam city. The name and address of exam centre will be intimated through the CTET admit card 2026.
The CTET exam is conducted in two shifts for Paper 1 and Paper 2. The shift 1 is held from 9:30 am to 12 noon and Shift 2 from 2:30 pm to 5:00 pm. Candidates get to know the allotted CTET shift timing through their admit cards.
The CTET city intimation slip was released on January 23. Candidates downloaded it with the help of application number, date of birth and security pin. The city slip consists of the name of the exam city allotted to the candidate.
Candidates need to carry these documents to the CTET exam centre-
- CTET admit card.
- Original photo ID proof such as PAN Card, Driving License, Voter ID, Passport, or Aadhaar Card.
- Passport size photograph.
- Ball-point pen of blue or black ink.
- Transparent water bottle.
The Central Board of Secondary Education will conduct the CTET exam on September 6, 2026. The Setpember session of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test will be held offline.
No, the CTET 2026 admit card will be released three or four days prior to the exam date. Candidates will be able to download the admit card using the application number and password. The CTET hall ticket download link will be activated at ctet.nic.in.

The CBSE conducted the CTET exam for the February session or the 21st Edition exam on February 7 and 8 at various centres across the country. It was conducted in an offline mode in two shifts each day. Paper 2 was conducted in the morning shift from 9:30 am to 12 pm and Paper 1 was held in the afternoon shift from 2:30 pm to 5 pm.
Candidates are not allowed to appear for the CTET exam without an original photo ID proof. Candidates can carry any of the ID proofs-
