DRDO CEPTAM MTS 2021 exam dates for Tier 1 are expected to be announced soon. Earlier, the exam was postponed by DRDO due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
DRDO CEPTAM MTS 2021 Tier 1 exam date for selection of multi-tasking staff (MTS) in Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) will be announced soon. The exam is yet to be conducted by DRDO. It is more than one year now that the notification for DRDO CEPTAM MTS was released. Candidates are waiting eagerly for the announcement of exam schedule.
DRDO CEPTAM MTS is a General Central Service Group C, Non-Gazetted Ministerial post. A total of 1817 vacancies will be filled to this post for which DRDO had invited applications from Class 10 pass ITI candidates in December 2019.

DRDO had last updated the candidates regarding the DRDO CEPTAM exam dates for MTS in June 2020. The notice released by DRDO stated, “All candidates who have applied against DRDO Entry Test: 2019-20/MTS advertisement, may please note that Tier-I (CBT) exam could be conducted as per plan due to outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic. However, this will be planned and tentative dates will be intimated in due course of time, subject to the prevailing conditions and Government guidelines issued from time to time regarding the handling of the COVID-19 pandemic.”
DRDO CEPTAM MTS exam pattern is divided into two tiers-1 and 2. Both the tiers will be conducted in Computer Based Mode. Tier 1 will comprise questions from General Intelligence & Reasoning Ability, General Awareness, and Quantitative Aptitude & Numerical Ability. Tier 2 will carry questions from General Science, General Math, and General English. The minimum qualifying marks for tier 1 are 40 per cent for UE/ESM/OBC and 35 per cent for SC/ST candidates. On the basis of the performance in tier-1, candidates in the ratio 1:10 will be shortlisted for the tier-2. Final selection of candidates for this post will be done based on the tier-2 exam.
