AFCAT 2 notification 2020 has been released by IAF on June 10. The application form will be available from June 15 to July 14.

The Indian Air Force (IAF), on June 10, has released AFCAT 2 notification 2020. The application form for the exam will be released on June 15. The last date of application and fee payment is July 14. The online test of AFCAT (2) 2020 will be conducted on September 19 and 20.

AFCAT 2 notification 2020 is available online on the official website in PDF form. IAF has announced a total of  256 vacancies for AFCAT 2. 10% seats out of CDSE vacancies for PC and 10% seats out of AFCAT vacancies for SSC are for NCC Special Entry Flying branch.

AFCAT application form should be filled online only. The application fee is Rs 250 and can be paid online.

AFCAT Eligibility Criteria 2020

Candidates applying for the examination should ensure that they fulfill all the eligibility conditions for admission to the examination. Only Indian citizens can apply for AFCAT exam. For Flying Branch through AFCAT and NCC Special Entry, the age of candidates should be 20 to 24 years as on July 1, 2021 (born between July 2, 1997 to July 1, 2001). For Ground Duty (Technical & Non-Technical) branch, the age of candidates should be between 20 to 26 years as on July 1, 2021 (born between July 2, 1995 to July 1, 2001). AFCAT is conducted for selection of Group A Gazetted Officers in Flying and Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) branches/NCC Special Entry/Meteorology Entry for courses commencing in July 2021. The selection process comprises online exam and AFSB test.
