MHA is expected to soon announce IB ACIO 2020-21 Tier-I result. The result will be announced in the form of merit list. Candidates 10 times the number of vacancies will be selected for the Tier-II exam.

Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) is expected to soon announce IB ACIO 2020-21 Tier-I result. The Tier-I exam of IB ACIO was conducted on February 18, 19 and 20 to fill up 2000 vacancies for the post of Assistant Central Intelligence Officer Grade-II/Executive in Intelligence Bureau. The result will be announced on the official website in the form of merit list. The roll numbers of the qualified candidates will be made available in PDF form.

Earlier, MHA had released IB ACIO 2020-21 Tier-I answer key. Candidates could raise objections against the answer keys within four days from the date of its release. The final IB ACIO 2020-21 answer key is also expected to be released soon.

The overall paper of IB ACIO was moderate in terms of difficulty level. The test carried questions from Quantitative Aptitude, Logical/analytical ability and English Language. The total marks assigned to the exam are 100. The score of Tier-I will be calculated based on the number of correct answers after deducting penalty for wrong answers. The marks obtained by candidates will be normalised to announce the result. Based on the Tier-I result, candidates 10 times the number of vacancies will be selected for the Tier-II exam.

IB ACIO qualifying marks & expected cutoff

To qualify for the Tier-II exam, all candidates need to secure the minimum qualifying marks and also IB ACIO cutoff marks decided by MHA. The qualifying marks out of 100 are 35 for UR, 34 for OBC/EWS and 33 for SC/ST. Given below is the expected cutoff for Tier-I exam.
