IBPS Clerk 2020 prelims exam will be conducted on December 5, 12, and 13 in four shifts. Know here some important exam day guidelines.

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) will conduct the preliminary exam of IBPS Clerk on December 5, 12 and 13. The exam will be conducted at over 200 cities spread throughout the country in four shifts. In view of COVID-19 pandemic, the exam will be conducted putting in place all the safety precautions.

The prelims exam of IBPS Clerk will comprise three sections: English Language, Numerical Ability and Reasoning Ability. The question paper will be available in English and Hindi languages. The test paper will have a total of 100 questions which candidates need to answer within 20 minutes. The total marks of the exam are 100.

The prelims exam is qualifying in nature. Candidates qualifying the prelims exam will be called for the mains exam.

IBPS Clerk: Know exam day rules

The following exam day guidelines have been released by IBPS

  • In view of the COVID-19 pandemic, mapping of the candidateโ€™s roll number and lab number will not be displayed at the IBPS Clerk exam centre. These will be informed to candidates at the time of registration
  • Candidates need to wear masks, gloves and carry transparent water bottles and hand sanitisers
  • Exam related items such as pen, documents and IBPS Clerk admit cards should be taken to the exam centre
  • Candidates need to carry a valid photo-identity proof. Ration Card and Learnerโ€™s Driving License will not be accepted as valid ID proof.
  • Any stationery items such as textual material, bits of papers, geometry/pencil box, calculator, etc. are prohibited inside the exam centre
  • Use of communication devices such as mobile phone, Bluetooth, earphone, microphone, pager, health band, etc. are prohibited
  • Candidates need to report atleast 15 minutes before the reporting time
  • Candidates should maintain a safe distance from one another
  • Registration will be done through photo capture
  • Rough sheets will be kept at the desk of each candidate
  • Candidate must drop the rough sheets, call letter, ID proof copy in the boxes provided at the exit of the exam lab while leaving
