IBPS Clerk Exam Centres 2023: Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released the list of IBPS Clerk exam cities for prelims and mains exams along with the notification. IBPS Clerk 2023 for prelims exam will be conducted in around 200 cities. IBPS Clerk mains exam will be conducted in around 80 cities. Candidates can select one IBPS Clerk exam centres each for prelims and mains exams while filling the application form. The exam centres selected by candidates cannot be changed after the final submission of the application form. The details of IBPS Clerk exam centres are mentioned on the admit card. Candidates can check below the lists of IBPS Clerk exam centres for prelims and mains exam.

Q: In how many cities will IBPS Clerk prelims and mains exams are conducted?

A: IBPS Clerk prelims exam is conducted in around 200 cities whereas the mains exam is conducted in around 80 cities. Candidates are required to select one exam city each for the prelims and mains exams.

Q: Can I change my IBPS Clerk exam centre?

A: There is no provision to change IBPS Clerk test centre after the final submission of the application form and release of admit card. Candidates should choose their exam centres correctly while filling the application form.

Q: In how many shifts IBPS Clerk exam will be conducted?

A: IBPS Clerk exam will be conducted in four shifts for prelims exam and two shifts for the mains exam. IBPS Clerk prelims exam timings are 09:00 am-10:00 am, 11:30 am-12:30 pm, 02:00 pm-03:00 pm and 04:30 pm-05:30 pm. IBPS Clerk mains shift timing is 9:00 am -12.00 pm.

Q: Will I be allotted IBPS Clerk exam centre as per my choice?

A: Yes, IBPS Clerk exam centre will be allotted as per your choice. However, the examination reserves the right to allot exam centres to candidates.

Q: What photo-identity proof should I carry to IBPS Clerk exam centre?

A: Candidates must carry any one of the photo-identity proof-Aadhaar Card/PAN Card/Passport/Driving License, etc to the IBPS Clerk exam centre along with the admit card. The photo-identity proof will be verified by the exam centre officials.

Q: Can I show ration card as photo-identity proof to the officials of IBPS Clerk exam centre during verification?

A: No, ration card and Leaners driving license are not considered valid photo-identity proof. Candidates can only carry photo-identity proofs such as Aadhaar Card/PAN Card/Passport/Driving License, etc.

Q: Which are the items banned inside IBPS Clerk exam centre?

A: Candidates are not allowed to carry Stationery items such as textual material (printed or written), bits of papers, geometry/pencil box, plastic pouch, calculator, scale, writing pad, pen drives, log table, electronic pen/scanner. Any communication device such as bluetooth, earphones, microphone, pager, health band, etc. They cannot carry goggles, handbags, hairpin, hair band, belt, cap, wristwatch, camera, metallic item, etc. Eatable item is not allowed. Candidates must avoid wearing rings, earrings, nose-pin, chains/necklaces, pendants, badges, brooch, etc.

Q: Will I be provided rough sheets inside IBPS Clerk exam hall?

A: Rough sheets will be kept at the desk of each candidate. No additional sheets will be provided during the exam. Candidates must drop the rough sheets in the boxes provided at the exit of the lab/venue while leaving the exam hall. Separate drop-boxes will be provided for rough sheets and admit card.
