The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) will release IBPS PO notification 2020 in the first week of August. The notification will be released in PDF and comprises all information related to the exam. The application process of IBPS PO will begin after the release of notification. Candidates need to fill the application form and pay the fees online.

The application fees of IBPS PO are Rs 600 for General and OBC while it is Rs 100 for SC/ST/PWBD candidates. Last year, IBPS PO notification and application form was made available on August 7. Candidates could fill IBPS PO application form for the exam till August 28. More than 4,000 IBPS PO vacancies were filled through this recruitment process.

According to IBPS calendar 2020, the prelims exam will be conducted on October 3, 4 and 10, 2020. IBPS PO mains exam date is November 28, 2020. 

The educational qualification prescribed for the exam is graduation. The age of candidates should be between 20 to 30 years. Age relaxation of five, three, and ten years is given to SC/ ST, OBC (non-creamy layer), and PwD candidates, respectively. Check here

The selection of candidates for the post of  Probationary Officer/ Management Trainee in the participating public sector banks is done based on the prelims exam, mains exam, and interview. Candidates qualifying the prelims exam are called for the mains exam. Those who will qualify the mains exam will be called for Interview. The final merit list for the provisional allotment is done based on the mains exam and interview. The marks of the prelims exam are not counted for the final merit list.
