IBPS PO 2020 prelims scores and cut off marks have been released by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection. Candidates can download their scorecards till February 4.
The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released the scores of IBPS PO 2020 prelims exam on January 20, 2021. Along with the scorecard, the examination authority has also released the section-wise and overall cutoff marks. Candidates can access their scorecard till February 4 by logging with the registration number or roll number and date of birth or password. The scorecard displays the overall and section-wise scores obtained in the prelims exam.
Earlier, IBPS PO 2020 result for the prelims exam was announced on January 14. The result of IBPS PO displayed the qualifying status of candidates for the next round of selection process. The preliminary exam of IBPS PO was conducted on October 3, 10 and 11. The institute had conducted the prelims exam again for supplementary vacancies on January 5 and 6, 2021.
Calculation of Scores
The total score of preliminary exam has been calculated by adding the marks obtained in English Language, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning Ability. The number of questions answered correctly by a candidate in each objective test is considered for arriving at the corrected score after applying penalty for wrong answers. The corrected scores so obtained are made equivalent by adopting the normalisation process to arrive at the equated score. The final scores in each test are rounded off upto two digits after the decimal point.
