IBPS RRB 2020 notification will be released soon; prelims exam will be held from Aug 1

IBPS RRB 2020 notification will be released soon. The prelims exam of IBPS RRB for Officers Scale 1 and Office Assistant (Multipurpose) will be conducted on August 1, 2, 8, 9 and 16. 

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) is soon expected to release IBPS RRB notification 2020. The notification is expected to be released in the first or second week of June 2020. According to IBPS Calendar 2020, the prelims exam of IBPS RRB for Officers Scale 1 and Office Assistant (Multipurpose) will be conducted on August 1, 2, 8, 9 and 16.

Candidates who will qualify IBPS RRB prelims exam will be called for mains exam. The mains exam for Officers Scale I, II and III will be conducted on September 13. The mains exam for Office Assistant post will be conducted on September 19, 2020. The single level exam for Officers Scale II and III posts will be conducted on September 13.

How to apply for IBPS RRB?

IBPS will release IBPS RRB application form in online mode. According to IBPS RRB eligibility criteria, candidates who have completed their graduation can apply for the exam. The application fee is Rs 600 for General/OBC/EWS candidates while it is Rs 100 for SC/ST/PwD categories. The application form comprises several steps such as registration, uploading of documents, filling the detailed application form, preview, fee payment and final submission.

IBPS RRB 2020 Selection Process

The post-wise selection process is given below:

Officers Selection (Scale 1, 2, 3): The selection for Officers Scale 1 will be done on the basis of Prelims Exam, Mains Exam and Interview while single level exam will be conducted for the post of Officers Scale II and III followed by the interview.

IBPS RRB Office Assistant: The selection of candidates will be done on the basis of Prelims Exam, Mains Exam and Interview.
