IES 2020 main exam centre can be changed till September 13. See details here

IES 2020 main examination will be conducted on October 17 and 18. The UPSC has issued a notice regarding the change in the IES mains 2020 exam centres. The Union Public Service Commission will activate the IES 2020 main exam centre change window today. The exam centres can be changed until September 13 by 6 PM.

How to change the IES 2020 main exam centre?

Earlier on July 1, UPSC declared the new exam date for IES 2020 main exam and it was mentioned that the IES main exam will be conducted on October 18. but UPSC is getting requests from the candidates to change their IES 2020 main exam centre. Because of these requests, UPSC has provided the opportunity to change the IES main exam centre to the candidates.

UPSC also said in the notice that “The candidates, who are not interested to change their Centre, are not required to log into the online system of centre change.”

IES main exam pattern

The IES main is a descriptive examination. It is the test of the subjective knowledge of the candidates related to their engineering subject. There are two papers of three hours each. The pattern of IES main exam 2020 is given below.
