Indian Coast Guard notification 02/2022 batch has been released for Navik & Yantrik. The application form will be available online from January 4 to 14, 2022.

Indian Coast Guard (ICG) has released notification for Navik (General Duty), Navik (Domestic Branch) and Yantrik for 02/2022 batch. Application forms will be accepted online from January 4 to 14, 2022. The selection of candidates will be based on all India order of merit on their performance in Stage I, II, III and IV and the number of vacancies available for the post.

The basic training for Navik (General Duty) and Yantrik will commence in August 2022 and Navik (Domestic Branch) in October 2022 at INS Chilka followed by sea training and professional training in the allotted trade.

Candidates can apply for only one post either Navik (DB) or Navik (GD) or Yantrik (Mechanical) or Yantrik (Electrical) or Yantrik (Electronics) in one cycle. The application fee us INR 250 and can be paid online. SC/ST candidates are exempted from fee payment.

Indian Coast Guard Eligibility Criteria for Navik & Yantrik

The eligibility criteria in terms of educational qualification and age limit is given below:

Educational Qualification

Navik (General Duty): Candidates must have passed Class 12 with Maths and Physics from an education board recognized by Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE).

Navik (Domestic Branch): Passed Class 10 from an education board recognized by Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE).

Yantrik: Passed Class 10 from an education board recognized by Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE) and Diploma in Electrical/ Mechanical / Electronics/ Telecommunication (Radio/Power) Engineering of duration three or four years approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE).

Or,

Passed Class 10 & 12 from an education board recognised by the Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE) and Diploma in Electrical/ Mechanical / Electronics/ Telecommunication (Radio/Power) Engineering of duration two or three years approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE).

Age Limit

The age of candidates should be between 18 and 22 years.
