Karnataka State Eligibility Test (KSET) Center, University of Mysore has released the exam day guidelines and instructions for the KSET 2021. Candidates who will be appearing for the Karnataka SET exam on April 11, 2021, need to follow these rules compulsorily. The KSET exam guidelines contain general instructions, precautions to be taken against the COVID-19 pandemic, exam schedule, reporting time, items permitted inside the centre and others. The KSET 2021 exam will be held on April 11, 2021. The KSET admit card will be released soon.

KSET 2021 Exam Day Guidelines

Have a look at the guidelines to be followed by candidates on the day of examination at the centres:

  • Candidates need to carry their KSET admit card to the exam centres along with the photo ID proof.
  • The KSET examination hall will open 30 minutes before the start of the exam on April 11, 2021.
  • Candidates who will be late by over 20 minutes will not be allowed to appear for the exam.
  • Candidates are not allowed to leave the examination centres until 10.00 am in the first session and until 12.00 noon in the second session.
  • Candidates will not be allowed to go to the washroom during the last 20 minutes of the exam.
  • Candidates will be allotted a seat marked with their roll number. You need to occupy the seats by 9:00 am.
  • Candidates should not tamper the seal of the test booklets before 9.30 am for Paper I and before 11.00 am for Paper-II.
  • Candidates need to bring their own ballpoint pen (blue or black), pencil and eraser.
  • If candidates write their mobile number or put any mark in the OMR Sheet that reveals their identity, they will be disqualified, under the unfair means rule.
  • The use of calculators & log tables is not allowed during the exam and electronic devices such as cellular/mobile/satellite phone, pager etc. are not allowed.
  • Candidates need to return the original OMR Sheet to the invigilator before leaving the hall/room. However, candidates can take the used test booklets along with the carbonless copy of the OMR Sheet.
  • Smoking and taking refreshment or tea is strictly prohibited in the exam centres.
  • Candidates who will not appear for Paper I will not be permitted to appear for Paper-II as well.

Note: As per the directions, the duplicate KSET admit card will be issued at the respective Nodal Centers.

Items permitted into exam centres amid COVID-19 pandemic

  • Wearing of face mask is compulsory
  • Hand gloves
  • Personal transparent water bottle
  • Personal small hand sanitiser (50 ml)
  • Exam related documents such as admit card, ID card, etc.

Apart from this, candidates need to be present two hours before the exam time at the examination centre and maintain social distancing at the venue.

  • Notebooks
