MAHA TET 2026 Last Date: Maharashtra State Council of Examination will close application window for MAHA TET today, April 16, 2026. Candidates who have not yet applied for Maharashtra Teacher Eligibility Test must complete their TET registration at official website mahatet.in. 

As per announced schedule, Maha  TET will be held on June 21 in two shifts in pen and paper mode. For MAHA TET paper 1, first shift will be from 10:30 am to 1 pm, and for paper 2,  second shift will be from 2:30 to 5 pm. MAHA TET is conducted for candidates aspiring to become teachers for Classes 1 to 8 in Maharashtra schools.

Will MAHA TET 2026 Last Date Be Extended?

As of now, there is no official announcement regarding extension of MAHA TET 2026 application deadline. Candidates are advised not to wait for extension and complete MAHA TET registration soon. Going as per past trends, there are chances of extension. MAHA TET 2025, last date to apply was extended from October 3 to 9, giving candidates extra time to submit their forms.
