Meghalaya TET Application 2021 last date extended till August 31, check how to apply
Meghalaya TET (MTET) Application 2021 deadline has been extended by DERT till August 31. Candidates who have still not applied for the MTET 2021 exam can submit their applications online or offline now.
Meghalaya’s Directorate of Educational Research & Training (DERT) has extended the last date of Meghalaya TET (MTET) 2021 application process till August 31, 2021. Candidates who were unable to apply earlier for the Meghalaya TET exam can now submit their application form now. The MTET application form 2021 can be submitted offline or online, as per the ease of candidates.
Both offline and online applications for the Meghalaya Teacher Eligibility Test (MTET) 2021 will be accepted up to August 31. Candidates can submit the offline application form to the regional centres during office hours and online applications will be accepted till 5.00 pm.
The MTET 2021 exam also stands postponed as the application process has been extended till August 31. The exam was set to be held on August 28. The new exam date will be announced soon.

- Visit the official website of MTET- www.megeducation.gov.in
- Click the ‘Online Application for MTET 2021’ link
- Read the given instructions carefully
- Select the paper(s) you want to apply for
- Enter the required details
- Enter the verification code and submit the application form
- Save the acknowledgement slip containing the MTET Application Number
- Pay the application fee using the application number
How to fill offline MTET Application Form 2021?
Candidates can even fill the MTET application form offline by following the steps below.
- Visit the official website
- Click on the ‘Application Form: MTET 2021 Application form for UP or LP’ link under the ‘Directorate of Educational Research & Training’ box
- Download the Meghalaya TET application form
- Fill the application form
- Paste the recent passport size photo (3.5×4cm) containing candidate’s name and form number at its back side
- Sign below the photograph in black ball pen
- Submit the application form at the respective DERT/DIET centre during the office hours
- Pay application fee in cash

- General – Rs 800 (Rs 1600 for both papers)
- SC/ST/OBC – Rs 400 (Rs 800 for both papers)
- No fee for PwD category
