Meghalaya TET (MTET) Application Form 2023: Check How to Apply

Candidates need to apply offline or online to submit their applications along with the fees to appear for the exam.

• Step 1: Visit the official website of MTET- www.megeducation.gov.in
• Step 2: Click on the ‘Directorate of Educational Research & Training’ box
• Step 3: Click on the ‘Application Form: MTET 2023 Application form for UP or LP’ link
• Step 4: Download the Meghalaya TET application form
• Step 5: Fill the application form completely
• Step 6: Paste your recent passport size photo (3.5×4cm) Photograph. Write your name and Form No. on the backside of the photograph
• Step 7: Sign below the photograph within the box in black ball pen
• Step 8: Submit the application form at the respective DERT/DIET centre during the office hours of any working day
• Step 9: Pay the application fee in cash

Candidates could fill out the Meghalaya TET (MTET) Application Form 2023 by following the given-below steps:

• Visit the official website- www.megeducation.gov.in
• Click on the link ‘Online Application for MTET 2023’
• Read the instructions carefully
• Select the paper(s) you want to apply for
• Enter all the details
• Click on the declaration checkbox
• Enter the verification code and submit the form
• Save the acknowledgement slip that contains the Application Number
• Pay the application fees using the application number

Note: To fill out the MTET form online, candidates could visit the nearest Community Service Centers located across the state in case they do not have internet access.

Meghalaya TET Application Fee 2023

The application fee was required to be paid in cash if candidates apply offline and in online mode if candidates choose to submit the form online. The application or examination fee for the Meghalaya TET exam was as follows:

• General – INR 800 (INR 1600 for both papers)
• SC/ST/OBC – INR 400 (INR 800 for both papers)
• PWD – No fees

Note: No Documents needed to be submitted at the time of submission of Form

Candidates need to submit the offline MTET application form at the centres falling under their districts during office hours on a working day. Here is the list of centres:

• Candidates must ensure that they fulfil the Meghalaya TET eligibility criteria in terms of age and educational qualification
• Choose the Language-I and Optional subject carefully while filling out the application form
• Details submitted in the application form such as name, category, date of birth, address, mobile number, email ID and educational qualification are considered final
• Candidates should carefully paste the passport-size photograph on the form and sign accordingly
