Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board (MPPEB) has announced the exam schedule for the Primary School Teacher Eligibility Test 2020 session. As per the schedule, the MP TET exam will be held during December 2021 – January 2022. The MP TET 2020 exam had been postponed for several times due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The exam was initially set to be held in 2020 itself.
The Madhya Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (MP TET) 2020 notification was released by the PEB in on December 31, 2019.

The complete exam schedule will be announced by the MPPEB later along with the MP TET admit card release date.
The MP TET exam is conducted every year to determine the eligibility of candidates for the post of primary and upper primary school teachers in the state. The MP TET exam for primary school teachers is for candidates who want to teach classes 1 to 5. Candidates who want to gain eligibility as class 1 to 5 teachers need to appear for the MP TET exam and qualify it by obtaining passing scores. Those who qualify the exam are awarded the MP TET certificate.
MP TET Certificate validity extended for life
The National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) in June 2021 extended the TET certificate validity to lifetime. Going by this, the MP TET certificate now stands valid for life. However, there is no official update from the MPPEB in this regard.
