Over 90 lakh candidates have appeared in RRB NTPC CBT 1 exam held so far in first, second, third, and fourth phases of exams. The exam for the fifth phase will begin on March 4.

Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) are conducting RRB NTPC CBT 1 exam. The exam is being held over multiple phases and sessions. As per the data released by the Indian Railways, so far over 90 lakh candidates had appeared for the exam. In the first phase of RRB NTPC CBT 1 exam, over 23 lakh candidates had appeared. The second phase of RRB NTPC CBT 1 exam was conducted for approximately 27 lakh candidates. In the third phase, over 28 lakh candidates had appeared for the exam. The fourth phase is conducted for approximately 15 lakh candidates.

The fifth phase of RRB NTPC exam will be conducted for 19 lakh candidates. The fifth phase of RRB NTPC exam will be conducted on March 4, 5, 7, 8, 9, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 19, 20, 21, and 27. The fourth phase of exam will conclude on March 3. The second phase of RRB NTPC CBT 1 was conducted from January 16 to 30, 2021. The first phase of RRB NTPC CBT 1 was conducted from December 28, 2020, to January 13, 2021.

The first stage CBT of RRB NTPC is conducted for 90 minutes. Questions are asked from General Awareness, Mathematics, and General Intelligence and Reasoning. The test paper comprises a total of 100 objective-type multiple-choice questions. The total marks of the test are 100. The first stage is qualifying in nature. Candidates 20 times the number of vacancies will be selected for the second phase of CBT 1 exam.
