RRB NTPC Exam Dates 2026 (OUT): Check Exam Schedule (07/2025) for Under Graduate Posts

RRB NTPC age limit for candidates applying for the undergraduate level posts should be 18 to 33 years. The age limit for graduate-level posts is 18 to 36 years. Candidates belonging to the reserved categories are given relaxation in the age limit as per government rule. RRB NTPC Typing Test is conducted for Junior Clerk, Accounts Clerk, Senior Clerk, and Senior Time Keeper post. Candidates are given to type certain words in Hindi or English. This test is qualifying in nature.

The basic salary of RRB JE is INR 35,400. The pay band for this post is INR 35,400-1,12,400. Grade pay is INR 4200. The basic RRB NTPC salary ranges between INR 19,900 to 21,700. The selection processes are different for both the posts. 

The educational qualification for Undergraduate level posts was Class 12. For Graduate-level posts, educational qualification was Graduation. Provided below is the eligibility criteria for few posts: Commercial Apprentice: Degree from recognised University or its equivalent. After five years RRB NTPC salary will increase due to increment and promotions. The basic salary for Undergraduate posts might range from INR 22,400 to 24,500. RRB NTPC salary for Graduate posts might range between INR 28,700 and INR 39,900.
