Punjab Pre-Primary Teacher Recruitment 2020: Notification for 8393 Vacancies Soon; Check Details Here
Punjab Government has given nod for the recruitment of 8393 pre-primary teachers in various government pre-primary schools, know more about the event here.
The government of Punjab will soon release a notification for the recruitment of 8393 pre-primary teachers in the state. The Punjab Cabinet has approved the filling of the posts after a meeting on September 23, 2020 with the aim to improve and strengthen the government pre-primary schools and increase student enrollment in the schools of Punjab. The notification is expected soon.
As per the statement released by CMO Punjab, “8,393 posts would be filled, calculated on the basis of one teacher for every 30 students on the rolls in pre-primary schools at present”.
Candidates holding relevant eligibility for the posts will be able to apply offline. Candidates who are experienced teachers or volunteers or Sikhiya or Providers/Education Providers/Education Volunteers or EGS Volunteers or AIE Volunteers and Special Training Resource (STR) Volunteers or those who are working in the Education Department, will be given priority. They are entitled to get age relaxation and special credit for the recruitment.
Previously, it was decided that the vacancy for 12000 pre-primary teacher posts will be filled. Keeping in mind the current fiscal situation of the date, the cabinet has decided to induct 8393 pre-primary teachers now. The official sources stated that the recruitment process will begin at the earliest. The Cabinet has also given approval for the departmental service rules for pre-primary school teachers.
