RBI Grade B 2021 exam pattern revised; check details here
Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has revised RBI Grade B 2021 exam pattern. Paper-I and III of Phase II will have both descriptive and objective type papers. This year, RBI has introduced a psychometric test in which candidates need to appear before the interview. The interview will be held for 75 marks instead of 50 marks. Read below to check the revised exam pattern.
There is also a change in the exam timings of Paper-I and III of Phase II. The objective test will be held for 30 minutes while the descriptive paper will be conducted for 90 minutes. Therefore, the total exam duration of these papers is 120 minutes. Earlier, these papers were conducted for 90 minutes. In Paper-I and III, 50 marks each are allotted to the objective and descriptive papers. In the objective section of Paper-I and III of Phase-II, there will be 30 questions. Some questions will carry two marks while some will carry one mark. In the descriptive section, there will be six questions, out of which candidates need to attempt four questions. Two questions will be for 15 marks while two questions will be for 10 marks. In case, candidates answers more than four questions in a descriptive test, the first four will be evaluated.

RBI has included a Psychometric Test in the exam pattern for all posts. Candidates before appearing in the interview are required to appear for the Psychometric test. No marks will be allotted for the Psychometric Test. The performance in this test will be considered for the final selection criteria. The total marks of the interview for all posts will carry 75 marks instead of 50 marks.
Currently, RBI Grade B 2020 application form filling process is underway. Candidates can fill their application forms till February 15. The Phase I RBI Grade B exam will be conducted on March 6. Paper-II and III for DEPR and DSIM posts will be conducted on March 31. Phase-II exam for the General post will be conducted on April 1.
