REET 2021 new date released, know when EWS candidates will be able to apply!

REET 2021 new date announced by Education Minister Govind Singh Dotasara, application for EWS candidates to release soon. 

Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Test or REET 2021 will be conducted on September 26, 2021. Applications for EWS candidates will be accepted from June 21 to July 5. Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education will release the notification regarding the same soon. Education Minister Govind Singh Dotasara made this announcement on Wednesday on Twitter.

REET 2021 was to be held on June 20, which was postponed by BSER on June 12. The board had postponed the proposed REET exam due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This was the second time REET exam was postponed; the exam was originally scheduled to be held on April 25 but later postponed to June 20 to provide a chance to students from economically weaker sections (EWS) of the society. 

Over 13 lakh aspirants have already applied for the exam. RTET/REET exam is conducted for the recruitment of primary and upper primary teachers. There are vacancies for 32,000 teachers approximately, which are going to be filled through this exam. REET qualified candidates are eligible for the post of teachers in classes 1-5 and classes 6-8.
