REET question paper 2022 has been released by BSER for Level 1 and Level 2 for all shifts. The REET exam was held on July 23 and 24, 2022 for Level 1 and Level 2.

The REET application 2022 concluded successfully on July 5, 2022. The REET 2022 online application process was carried out from April 18 to May 23, 2022, and then from June 2 to 5, 2022. The REET form correction 2022 was available from May 25 to May 27, 2022. 

The REET validity has been extended for life. CM Ashok Gehlot-led Rajasthan Cabinet recently decided to extend the REET certificate validity from three years to a lifetime. REET 2021 Level 2 exam was cancelled by Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot amid the question paper leak controversy.

What is REET?

Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teacher (REET) or Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Test (RTET) is conducted by the Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan (RBSE). The state-level REET exam is conducted for Level 1 and Level 2 papers. The REET Level 1 is for Primary Teachers who want to teach Classes 1 to 5 and Level 2 is for Upper Primary Teachers who want to teach Classes 6 to 8. Those who want to become Classes 1 to 8 teachers need to appear for both level papers. Candidates need to clear the REET 2022 exam in order to become eligible to teach Classes 1 to 8 in Rajasthan schools.

REET Certificate 2022: Validity Extended

Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot-led Cabinet has extended the REET certificate validity for a lifetime. Until now, the REET certificate was valid for a period of three years from the date of declaration of REET results.

REET 2022 Selection Process

To clear the REET 2022 exam, candidates need to go through the following stages of the selection process:
REET Application form: Candidates first need to fill the online RTET application form on the official website of RBSE. After providing all details during the online application, candidates need to pay the RTET application fee online.
REET Admit card: RTET admit card will be released one week before the examination, candidates can download their RTET admit card from the official website of RBSE. The admit card contains all important details regarding the exam such as date, time and test centre address.

REET exam: The state-level REET exam is conducted for the recruitment of primary teachers (Level 1) and upper primary teachers (Level 2). Level 1 is for classes 1-5 teachers and Level 2 is for classes 6-8 teachers.

REET Result: RTET result is declared soon after the completion of the assessment process. All qualified candidates will be awarded with RTET passing certificates, candidates can apply for the post of teachers in the schools of Rajasthan as per the order of merit.

REET Form Correction 2022

The REET form correction 2022 was available from May 25 to May 27, 2022. Have a look at the steps to make changes:

  • Login using the Challan number, registration number, mother’s name and date of birth.
  • Enter the OTP received on the registered mobile number.
