The REET Certificate was earlier valid for three years. The Rajasthan Cabinet led by CM Ashok Gehlot on March 12, 2022 extended the REET Certificate validity from three years to a lifetime according to the new guidelines of NCTE. Though the REET Certificate is valid for lifetime, the candidates are allowed to take the REET exam to upgrade their scores. The REET exam is taken every year for the candidates to become eligible for teaching or upgrade their scores. After qualifying for the REET exam the candidates will become eligible for the recruitment exam.

The REET Mains admit card for the recruitment of the third grade teachers in the schools of Rajasthan was released on February 17, 2023. The candidates were allowed to download the admit card by following the steps given below: a) Go to the official website b) Click on the Admit Card Link c) Fill out the details asked on the login page d) The admit card will appear on the screen e) Download the admit card and save it for later use. The candidates must not that the REET admit card is an essential document and without the admit cum hall ticket will bot be allowed in the exam hall. The candidates must also take a photo identity card along with the REET admit card to enter the exam hall. Other facilities like stamp pad, pen, water, adhesive, etc, are provided by the boards at the exam centre.

REET Certificate weightage has been increased in the recruitment process of primary and upper primary teachers in the schools of Rajasthan by the Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan. The ratio of the scores in the REET exam to scores in the board and graduation is 9:1. Earlier, this ratio was 7:1. According to BSER, the educational scores in board and graduation will constitute 10 per cent and the scores earned in the REET exam will constitute 90 per cent of the weightage.

The REET Certificate for the teacher eligibility test will be released after the declaration of result. Earlier, the REET ( Rajasthan Eligibility Examination Test) 2022 Certificate was released on the official website on December 7, 2022 for the exam taken on February 4 and 5, 2022. The board has decided weightage of the REET Certificate for the ease of candidates and to make the REET certificate mire relevant for the candidates. The REET certificate carries weightage of 70 per cent in the recruitment exam. 30 per cent weightage has been given to recruitment exam marks.
