Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan (BSER) has confirmed that there will be no change in REET exam date, exam to be held on April 25. REET admit card will be released soon on the official website of (BSER).
There was an increasing demand from a certain section of the REET aspirants and political leaders to postpone REET 2021 as the exam date coincides with Mahavir Jayanti. However, the chairman of Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE), Dr. DP Jaroli said that the candidates should not be in any confusion as there is no proposal to change the date of REET exam.
Dr. Jaroli also explained the reason behind their inability to change REET exam date from April 25 as no other Sunday is vacant for the examination. All Sundays in the coming weeks are already occupied for different agencies for other competitive exams. In such circumstances, the board cannot change the exam date as it will affect the recruitment process.
According to the media reports, REET exam centres will soon be finalized by the Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education. After the court order, the board had extended the last date for applying for Level 1 to February 20. A total of 16.5 lakh candidates have applied so far in this examination. The exam to be held to fill vacant posts of 32,000 teachers in the state.
