RRB Group D 2018: Railways allow medically unfit candidates to file an appeal

Railway Recruitment Boards have allowed candidates declared medically unfit in RRB Group D 2018 exam to file an appeal against their medical unfitness. Check the details here.
Process of submitting an appeal
- Candidates must submit a certificate from a government/private doctor of the specialty/specialties in which the candidate has been found unfit.
- Such a certificate should contain a note that the government/private specialist is fully aware of the physical and visual standards set by the railway for the particular medical category.
- To make an appeal, candidates need to pay Rs 1,000 through the demand draft. They need to upload the scanned copy of the DD PDF file.

Documents to submitted
- A scanned copy of the appeal should be uploaded in PDF file
- The same should be sent through registered post/speed to RRC
- Certificate issued by government/private specialist
- DD of Rs 1,000
- Acknowledgment of registered post/speed post by which the appeal sent to RRC/CR, and related papers
