RRB Group D 2021 might be delayed; check details here
RRB Group D 2021 exam is likely to be postponed. The exams were to be held by the RRBs in April 2021. The exam will not start until the RRB NTPC exams are over.
RRB Group D exam will be conducted for 1,03,769 vacancies. Approximately, 1.15 crore candidates have applied for the exam. Like RRB NTPC exam, RRB Group D exam will be conducted in several phases. Candidates qualifying the Computer Based Test (CBT) will be shortlisted for Physical Efficiency Test (PET). Candidates three times the number of vacancies will be selected for PET. It is mandatory for candidates to pass PET and it is qualifying in nature.
Based on the performance of candidates in CBT and subject to their qualifying in PET, candidates twice the number of vacancies are called for document verification as per their merit and options. Appointment of selected candidates is subject to their passing requisite medical fitness by the railway administration, final verification of education, community certificates and verification of antecedents/character certificates.
Shortlisted candidates will be posted in various units of Indian Railways including track maintainer grade IV, helper/assistant in various technical departments (electrical, engineering, mechanical, and S&T departments), assistant pointsman, and level-1 posts in other departments.
