The Ministry of Railways has made changes in the document verification process. Now, candidates equal to the number of vacancies will be called for document verification. 

The Ministry of Railways have made some changes in the document verification of RRB Group D 2021 exam. According to the revised process, it has been decided by the Ministry of Railways that the number of candidates to be called for document verification will be equal to the number of notified vacancies, i.e, 1:1.

Earlier, it was decided that the number of candidates to be called for document verification will be 1.05 times the number of notified vacancies (i.e. number of extra candidates to be called for document verification will be 5 per cent beyond the number of notified vacancies. Any such additional candidates who qualify in document verification and medical examination will be kept as standby in the event of shortage from main panel. Initially, it was decided that the number of candidates to be called for document verification will be 1.2 times the number of vacancies. Some zonal railways had urged for a review on the need for any additional candidates at all beyond the notified number to be called for document verification and medical examination.

Now, the procedure of conducting the document verification/medical examination of candidates who have qualified Computer Based Test (CBT) and Physical Efficient Test (PET) in RRB Group D has been reviewed by the board.

The first stage CBT exam of RRB Group D will be conducted in multiple phases tentatively from February 23, 2022. The modification link and application status are available from December 15 and 26, 2021.
