RRB Group D Notification Updates

Railway Recruitment Boards are expected to release RRB Group D notification 2026 soon. Going as per past trends, initially RRB Group D 2026 short notice will be released in newspaper. Later, detailed notification will be issued on official websites of railways. Through RRB Group D recruitment notification, it is likely that approx 60,000 vacancies will be announced. 

RRB Group D vacancies will be announced to recruit candidates for Level 1 posts such as Track Maintainer Grade-IV, Helper/Assistant in technical departments (Electrical, Mechanical, and S&T), Assistant Pointsman, and other Level-1 roles across various departments. 

As of now, RRB Group D 2025 exam is ongoing. As per schedule, exam will be concluded on January 16. RRB Group D exam was originally scheduled to be held from November 17 to December 31, 2025. However, Delhi High Court issued stay order in response to petition, stopping all related proceedings. 

What is Circulating on Social Media Regarding RRB Group D 2026 Recruitment? 

A notification is doing rounds on social media which states, “Detailed information on qualifications, medical standards, and suitability of posts for PwBD is given in Annexure A, while railway-wise and post-wise vacancy distribution for all notified posts is available in Annexure B. A total of 62,460 vacancies have been announced, and the detailed zone-wise distribution is provided in Annexure B.” Check image below 

How to fill RRB Group D 2026 Application Form? 

Candidates can check these steps to know how to apply online for RRB Group D 2026 recruitment

• Go to official website: rrbcdg.gov.in.
• Click on ‘New Registration’ link.
• Register for RRB Group D.
• Login with registration number and password.
• In Part I of application form, enter educational qualifications, community, gender, religion, Ex-Servicemen status, CCAA, Minority, Economically Backward Class status, age relaxation, and other necessary details.
• In Part II, enter RRB Group D posts.
• Pay fee, and select exam language.
• Provide details of photo ID card and bank details for fee refund.
• Upload scanned images and category certificate, for SC/ST candidates. 
• Save and submit form.
