Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have rescheduled RRB NTPC 2020 4th phase CBT 1 exam for one centre in Jaipur. The exam of candidates has been rescheduled to the fifth phase.

Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have rescheduled RRB NTPC 2020 4th phase CBT 1 exam for one centre in Jaipur. Due to technical and administrative reasons, the CBT 1 exam scheduled to be conducted in the exam centre Global Institute of Technology (Centre Code: 2441), Jaipur, has been cancelled. The exam of candidates allotted to this centre has been rescheduled to fifth phase. RRBs have informed candidates regarding rescheduling of their exam through SMS and email. The fourth phase of CBT 1 exam in this centre is scheduled to be conducted from February 22 to March 3, 2021.

Candidates will be informed regarding their next exam date and exam centre. The CBT 1 RRB NTPC exam comprises 100 objective-type multiple-choice questions from General Awareness, Mathematics, and General Intelligence and Reasoning. Total marks allotted to the test are 100. The difficulty level of the exam for all shifts held across various dates remained moderate.

For correct answers in the exam, candidates are awarded one mark. For incorrect answer, 0.25 marks are deducted as penalty.

The score of candidates in CBT 1 will be calculated based on the number of correct answers after deducting penalty for wrong response. Recently, RRBs have revised the normalisation formula. As per the revision, the marks obtained in the exam will be calculated on the basis of an average score of the top one percent of the candidates considering all shifts.
