RRB NTPC 2026 UG Exam Today; Check Exam Date, Reporting, Gate Closing and Shift Timings Here
RRB NTPC 2026 UG CBT 1 Exam has started. Today (May 7) is the first exam which is conducted at various centres across the country. Candidates can check complete schedule, reporting time and gate closing times below.
According to the schedule released, RRB NTPC UG exam is conducted from May 7 to June 21, 2026 in three shifts daily. The exam timings for three shifts are: 9 to 10:30 and 12:45 to 2:15 PM and 4:30 to 6:00 PM.
It is to be noted that shift timings will be mentioned on RRB NTPC admit card along with exam date. In the RRB NTPC UG exam, there will be three sections. General Awareness section includes 40 questions carrying total of 40 marks. Mathematics section has 30 questions for 30 marks while General Intelligence and Reasoning section also comprises 30 questions. Overall exam includes a total of 100 questions carrying 100 marks.

RRB NTPC 2026 UG: Check Exam Day Guidelines & Items not allowed
Candidates must check RRB NTPC 2026 exam day guidelines and items that are not allowed at the exam centre.
- Reach RRB NTPC exam centre at least 30 minutes before reporting time to avoid delay.
- They must note that no entry after the gate closing time will be given.
- Prohibited Items are electronics and henna/Mehndi.
- Do not carry pen/pencil or stationery, it will be provided at exam hall.
- Follow simple dress code without metal components to ease security checks.
