SBI Clerk 2020 prelims result is awaited. The State Bank of India was scheduled to release the result in April, however was delayed due to outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic and nation-wide lockdown. SBI had also released an official notice regarding the delay in the declaration of result. Once the result is announced, the link to check it will be made available on the official website. The result will be available in PDF form, it will display the roll numbers of qualified candidates.

On the basis of SBI Clerk prelims result, candidates 10 times the number of vacancies will be called for the mains exam. SBI Clerk 2020 prelims exam was conducted on February 22, 29, March 1 & 8.

How to check SBI Clerk 2020 prelims result?

The steps to check the result of SBI Clerk is given below:

  • Visit the career page of SBI
  • Go to the current opening section from join SBI tab
  • Select the link β€˜Recruitment of Junior Associates (Customer Support & Sales)’
  • From the drop-down click the result link
  • The result will be displayed in PDF form
  • Check your roll numbers
  • Take its printout

The preliminary exam is a screening for the mains exam. The final selection of candidates is done through the mains exam. There is no interview for the post. In case candidates who have not studied the specified opted local language in Class 10 and 12, will have to appear in the local language test after provisional selection but before joining. Those who will fail to qualify the test will be disqualified.

More than 8000 vacancies have been announced for SBI Clerk recruitment. Selected candidates will be on probation for a minimum of 6 months.
