SBI Clerk Prelims Result 2022

Sbi.co.in prelims result 2022 will be prepared out of 100 marks after applying penalty for wrong answers. Candidates 10 times the number of vacancies were selected for the mains exam. The marks obtained in the prelims exam are not counted for the final merit list.

SBI Clerk Result 2022

SBI Junior Associate prelims result 2022 will be declared to select candidates for the mains exam. The marks obtained as per result of SBI Clerk pre will not be counted for the final merit list. SBI Clerk result for final selection will be announced based on the marks obtained in the mains exam. Adequate number of candidates in each category as decided by the bank, i.e. approximately 10 times the number of vacancies will be selected for the mains exam.

SBI Clerk mains result 2022 is expected to be declared in January 2023. In the mains exam, candidates are required to score a minimum percentage marks on aggregate (For SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/ESM/DESM candidates, 5 per cent relaxation available thereon). Minimum qualifying marks on aggregate will be as decided by the bank. Merit list will be drawn state wise and category-wise. Candidates qualified in the test (main examination) will be placed according to their aggregate marks in descending order in respective states and categories. Candidates qualifying the mains exam will have to appear for the test of specified opted local language. Final selection will be based on the verification of eligibility and subject to the candidates qualifying the test of specified opted local language. A wait list of up to 50 per cent of vacancies (State-category wise) will be maintained.

SBI Clerk Mains Result

SBI Clerk mains result is made available in PDF form and it displays the roll numbers of qualified candidates. The final selection of candidates for the Junior Associate (Customer Support and Sales) post is done based on their performance in the mains exam subject to them qualifying the local language test. The marks of the mains exam are calculated out of 200. The marks of the mains exam are considered for the final merit list. Qualified candidates need to appear for the local language test. The final appointment is done only if candidates qualify the local language test.

SBI Clerk Result: Normalisation of Marks

As the SBI Clerk exam is conducted in different shifts and slots, therefore, the exam difficulty level varies as per shifts. The normalisation process is followed to adjust the difficulty level of question papers across various sessions. The marks of candidates are normalised using the equi-percentile method. The result is announced based on the normalised marks.

SBI Clerk Waitlist

  • SBI maintains a waitlist of up to 50 per cent of the vacancies both state-wise and category-wise
  • Candidates are offered an appointment from the waitlist on a quarterly basis if anyone does not join or resign
  • Only those candidates are selected from the waitlist who secures the minimum qualifying marks in the mains exam
  • The waitlist is valid for a period of one year from the date of declaration of the SBI Clerk final result

Tie-Breaking Policy in SBI Clerk Result 

In events where two or more candidates secure equal scores, the tie is resolved in the following manner:

  • Candidates who belong to the reserved category such as SC/ST/OBC/PH are considered
  • If the tie persists, candidates who have fewer incorrect answers in all the subjects are considered
  • If the tie continues, candidates older in age are considered

SBI Clerk Result 2022: Estimation of Qualifying Marks

SBI Clerk qualifying marks is set by the examination authority to select candidates for the further process. The qualifying marks are estimated based on the following factors:

A candidate who is aspiring to apply for the SBI Clerk exam must be an Indian citizen.
Candidates must fulfill the following educational requirements to apply for the SBI Clerk Prelims 2022 examination.
1.Prospective candidates must have a Graduation degree in any stream from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification which is recognized by the Central Government. They must make sure the passing certificate shows the date the relevant degree was earned.
2.Candidates who have an Integrated Dual Degree (IDD) certificate should ensure that the date of passing of the IDD is as per the guidelines given in the notification.
3.Those who are in the final year/ semester of their graduation may also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if provisionally selected, they will have to produce proof of having passed the graduation examination on or before 30.11.2022.
4.As per the SBI Clerk qualification criteria, the candidates need to mandatorily indicate the percentage theyve obtained in the Graduation degree and calculate it to the nearest two decimals in the online application form.
5.For Matriculate Ex-servicemen, prospective applicants should have obtained the Indian Army Special Certificate of Education or corresponding certificate in the Navy or Air Force, after completing at least 15 years of service in the Armed Forces of the Union.
Age limit:-
Not below 20 years and not above 28 years as on 01.08.2022, i.e. candidates must have been born not earlier than 02.08.1994 and not later than 01.08.2002 (both days inclusive). The details regarding the age limit and the relaxation in upper age are clearly given in the official notification. Candidates must go through the notification in detail and check the eligibility criteria.
