SBI PO 2020 notification is likely to be delayed due to COVID-19 pandemic. Last year, the recruitment notification was released on April 2. So far, there is no update for the recruitment.

SBI PO notification which is usually released in April, is likely to be delayed this year in the wake of COVID-19 pandemic. The notification is likely to be released after the end of lockdown 2.0. Last year, the recruitment was announced on April 2. So far, there is no update available for SBI PO 2020 recruitment.

On the other hand, SBI has postponed the mains exam of Junior Associates (Customer Support & Sales) as well as the declaration of result. The dates will soon be notified on the official website.

Graduates who are between 21 to 30 years are eligible for SBI PO exam. Relaxation in the age limit is given to candidates belonging to reserved categories. SBI PO application form can be filled online from the official website. The application fee is Rs 750 for General and OBC candidates and Rs 125 for SC/ST/PWD categories. The application fee can be paid online.

SBI selects candidates for PO post on the basis of preliminary exam, mains exam and interview. The marks obtained in the preliminary examination are not added for preparing the final merit list. Only the marks obtained in mains examination and interview are considered for preparing the final merit list.

The basic pay of a probationary officer is Rs 27,620. Candidates are also eligible for DA, HRA/ Lease rental, CCA, Medical and other allowances & perquisites as per rules in force from time to time. The total compensation per annum on the CTC basis is Rs 8.20 lakhs and the maximum is Rs 13.08 lakhs depending on the place of posting and other factors.
