SBI PO Apply Online 2024State Bank of India (SBI) will release SBI PO application form 2024 in September 2024. The deadline to fill the application form will be notified by the examination authority. The application process of SBI PO comprises several stages such as registration, uploading the photograph & signature, filling the detailed application form, previewing the application form, uploading left thumb impression & handwritten declaration, paying the application fee, and submitting the application form.The application fees is INR 750 and SC/ST/PWD categories are not required to pay the application fees. How to fill SBI PO Application Form?

Candidates can fill the application form of SBI PO in the following steps:

Step 1: SBI PO Registration 

  • Visit the official website of SBI
  • Go to the advertisement 'Recruitment of Probationary Officers' 
  • Click the 'Apply Online' link
  • Go to the registration page by clicking the 'Click Here for New Registration' link
  • To register enter names, mobile numbers, email ID, and security code
  • Upon successful registration, registration ID and password are generated

Step 2: Uploading the images 

Applicants had to upload their scanned photographs and signatures as per the format prescribed by SBI. The specifications for uploading the photograph and signature are given below:

Photograph

  • The dimension should be 200 x 230 pixels (preferred)
  • The size of the file should be between 20kb and 50 kb
  • Candidates need to ensure that the size of the scanned image is not more than 50kb

Signature

  • The dimension should be 140 x 60 pixels (preferred)
  • The size of the file should be between 10kb and 20kb
  • Candidates are required to ensure that the size of the scanned image is not more than 20kb
  • The signature in capital letters is not accepted

Procedure to upload the scanned photograph and signature

The process to upload the scanned photograph and signature is given below:

  • There are two separate links for uploading photograph and signature
  • Click on the respective 'Upload Photograph/Signature' link
  • Browse and select the location where the scanned photograph and signature files are saved
  • Select the file by clicking on it
  • Click the 'Open/Upload' button

Step 3: Filling the detailed SBI PO application form 

In the SBI PO application form, candidates need to fill in the following details:

Basic details: In this part of SBI PO application form, candidates need to enter details such as the circle, state, official language, category, nationality, centre for preliminary and mains exams, etc.

Personal details: Here, candidates need to enter their date of birth, gender, father's name, and mother's name, address, etc.

Educational Qualification: Candidates need to enter the details of Graduation, Postgraduation, professional qualification, and other qualifications

Work Experience: Candidates need to enter their total years of work experience

Step 4: Preview

After entering the details, candidates can preview the duly filled SBI PO application form. Candidates can edit the details entered in the application form before final submission. Candidates are allowed to edit the details in the application form three times only within the application deadline. Once the application is filled, candidates are required to submit the same. No change or editing of details is allowed. 

Step 5: SBI PO Application Fee

  • After ensuring that the details entered in SBI PO application form are correct, candidates are required to pay the fees through the payment gateway integrated with the application form
  • The fee can be paid through debit card/credit card/internet banking by providing the information asked
  • On successful completion of the fee payment, an e-receipt and application form are generated

SBI PO 2023 Application Form: Specifications for Scanning Documents

The dimensions and specifications for photograph, signature, left thumb impression and handwritten declaration.  

Parameters Details
Photograph

 

  • Dimension of the photograph should be 200 x 230 pixels (preferred)
  • Size of file should be between 20kb-50 kb
  • Candidates must ensure that the size of the scanned image is not more than 50kb. If the size of the file is more than 50 kb, then adjust the settings of the scanner such as the DPI resolution, no. of colours etc., during the process of scanning
Signature
  • Dimension of the signature should be 140 x 60 pixels (preferred)
  • Size of file should be between 10kb to 20kb
  • Ensure that the size of the scanned image is not more than 20kb
  • Signature in Capital Letters is not accepted
Left Thumb Impression
  • The file type of the left thumb impression should be in jpg/jpeg format
  • The dimension of the left thumb impression should be 240 x 240 pixels in 200 DPI (Preferred for required quality) i.e. 3 cm x 3 cm (Width x Height)
  • The file size should be 20 kb-50 kb
Handwritten declaration
  • The handwritten declaration should be written in English on a white paper with black ink
  • The file type should be in jpg/jpeg
    The dimension should be 800 x 400 pixels in 200 DPI (Preferred for required quality) i.e. 10 cm x 5 cm (Width x Height)
  • The file size should be 50 kb-100 kb
  • The handwritten declaration in capital letters is not accepted

SBI PO Educational Qualification

Any graduate candidate can apply for SBI PO exam. Candidates who are in the final year/semester of graduation can apply provisionally, subject to the condition that if they are called for an interview then they must produce proof of having completed graduation. Candidates possessing the qualification of a chartered accountant may also apply. Candidates having Integrated Dual Degree (IDD) can also apply for the exam.

SBI PO Handwritten Declaration

SBI PO handwritten declaration plays an important part while filling the application form. The application form is not accepted if candidates do not upload the handwritten declaration. The text for SBI PO handwritten declaration is given below:

“I,______(Name of the candidate), Date of Birth ______hereby declare that all the information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true, and valid. I will present the supporting documents as and when required. The signature, photograph and left thumb impression is of mine”.

How to Upload SBI PO Handwritten Declaration?

The steps to upload SBI PO handwritten declaration are given below:

  • Click on the 'SBI PO Handwritten Declaration' link
  • Browse and select the location where the handwritten declaration file is saved
  • Select the file by clicking on it
  • Click the ‘Open/ Upload’ button
  • If the file size and formats are not as prescribed, an error message will be displayed
  • Preview of the uploaded image will help to see the quality of the image. In case of unclear/smudged, the same may be re-uploaded to the expected clarity/ quality

SBI PO Exam Centres

SBI PO prelims exam is conducted at around 200 cities. The mains exam is conducted in around 70 citiesSBI PO exam centres are allotted to candidates as per their choice. Candidates need to select the test cities while filling the SBI PO application form.
